IBM | Video Concepting | Storyboarding
For this project, TD SYNNEX partnered with IBM to spotlight the launch of the IBM Power10 family, technology built to secure businesses “from the core to the cloud.” Even though the partnership was central to the initiative, the video itself needed to look entirely IBM. That constraint became the creative spark: my role was not just to follow IBM’s established brand universe, but to understand it deeply enough to expand it without ever breaking its visual logic.

Working from IBM’s brand manuals, I designed every vector element from scratch: patterns, iconography, transitions, and system diagrams. The challenge was to create new assets that felt like they had always belonged within IBM’s toolkit. Precision spacing, color structure, motion rhythm, and geometric consistency became the foundation of a visual language that supported the story without calling attention to itself. This is where I leaned heavily on my experience interpreting large-scale brand systems and blending new ideas seamlessly into existing ones.
The concepting and storyboarding process followed the same workflow we developed for any TD SYNNEX's project: building the narrative frame, defining the emotional pacing, and shaping visual metaphors around key themes such as quantum-safe encryption, rising cyber threats, and future-ready infrastructure. This time, the story called for a visual journey, from uncertainty and risk to clarity, resilience, and the confidence associated with IBM’s Power10 technology.
As always, the project was a collective effort. Collaborating with Jenna Ksaibati (Copywriter) and motion designer Dylan Demyanek allowed us to refine the flow, elevate the storytelling, and translate the boards into a final sequence that felt fully IBM: structured, trustworthy, and quietly powerful. The result is a piece that not only captures the message behind Power10 but also reflects my ability to interpret and expand legacy brand systems while working seamlessly within a creative team.
